"The works I present at Pispala Clothing explore the mental space for both children and adults. Childhood represents the most vulnerable and formative stage of life, shaping one’s destiny—if such a thing as exists. A home is meant to be a shelter and safe haven for a child, yet far too often it becomes a place of suffering. Many adults and elderly people also retreat into their homes to feel secure, but life enclosed within four walls can become lonely and joyless. My paintings reflect these fragile moments between protection and vulnerability, belonging and estrangement."⁠
