Catself plays a special Saint Patrick's Day programme in a superfriendly music- and art bar in Tampere.
Music artist Catself started performing when she worked in restaurants and cafés on the West Coast of Ireland in summers during her English studies. The importance of live music in Irish culture, and especially the powerful feeling that music events in small bars in tourist towns gave to the audience, has shaped her approach to live music.
Catself wants to give tribute to the importance of this influence by performing a special song programme on 17th March, the day of Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. She will perform her versions of some well-known Irish songs (some of which will be very different from the originals), songs she wrote inspired by her adventures in Ireland and also other songs of hers which will suit the mood.
The event takes place in Katubaari Axu, Ilmarinkatu 47, Tampere.
The entry is free. Tips for the artist are allowed and will be very appreciated.
