Second-generation gospel musician Severi Laakso performs his own songs together with his duo pianist.

Severi Laakso is a musician from Tampere. His music combines reflections on eternity and everyday life with diverse and profound melodic landscapes. He released his debut album Suureen maalliamaan in February 2024. In addition to the CD album, the songs can be listened to on streaming services, where his songs Suureen maalliamaan and Loista tähti made it to the official playlist "Iskelmä kuuluo kaikille". Laakso was also a Star of the Week on Radio SUN. His music has been played on Radio Dei and Järviradio. Severi Laakso released his second album Elämänlanka in March 2026.

Laakso has a long history in the field of music. He has played with numerous musicians in various projects. Laakso performs his own music as a troubadour, in a duo, and with a band in different parts of Finland. Laakso performs concerts in collaboration with the Kansan Raamattoseuara. Laakso is one of the members of the award-winning children's music ensemble Naattiorkester. He also performs together with the long-time singer Berit.

The central content of the concerts is not only songs but also reflections around the songs that are appropriate for the situation. Severi Laakso, who works as a musician pastor in Tampere, tours with his guitar at various events for his work. With his training as a music pedagogue and the Bible Teaching Academy, you can also find him educating and teaching. Confirmation school concerts, festivals, church concerts, yard clubs and private events as well as many different types of collaborative projects are familiar to him.
