Kahtia & Nighttime Fools @ Onkiniemi Ateljee

Kahtia is a Tampere-based poetry girl doom band, whose four angels bring messages to mortals with their beautiful verses and dirty distortion pedals. The songs, based on the poems of Edith Södergran (Finnish transl.: Uuno Kailas), enchant listeners with their dark, swirling atmosphere. Powerful, low and slow-rolling music draws your body in whirlpools of deep waters, while clear, piercing screams nourish the soul with choler, melancholy and love.

Nighttime Fools is a Polish-Finnish band playing '80s synth-pop with modern electronic influence. That is to say, music for the end times. Comments the band: "This is the last dance before the apocalypse! Join us for a road trip through the wasteland. Let's get tempted by cheap fast romance and neon lights — dance even though your toes are on fire!"
