The Tampere Summer Park Concerts are the highlight of the summer for all music and culture enthusiasts. Free outdoor concerts are held in various locations around the city, such as Laikunlava outdoor stage, Hiedanranta, Haihara Art Center and allotment gardens. The diverse program allows you to enjoy live music, singing, and dancing in around 100 different concerts.
The Summer Park Concerts start at the beginning of June and continue until the end of August. Come and spend a relaxed and atmospheric summer evening at the Summer Park Concerts!
We invite music ensembles, choirs and dance groups from Tampere to apply to perform in the 2025 Summer Park Concerts. The application period is from 3 to 28 February 2025, and the deadline for applications is 16.00 on the last day of the application period.
We welcome applications from people of different ages and genders, as well as from people from linguistic, cultural or other minorities. In selecting performers, we also emphasize on ensuring that as many different musical genres are represented as possible. All applicants will be notified of the selection by May 2025 at the latest.
The Summer Park Concerts are produced by the Tampere Public Sultural Services, which handles the marketing, copyright fees and notifications to the authorities. PA system and sound technician services will also be provided for some of the venues. The performance fee is €150 per concert arranged and realised.
