The Tampere Salon Orchestra's concert takes listeners to the world of entertaining salon music. The salon music concert features light classical music, evergreen hits, ballads and film tunes. The Tampere Salon Orchestra's strings are part of a large orchestra consisting of 30 players. The members of the orchestra are music enthusiasts, students or former professional musicians. The orchestra is led by professional conductors, senior teacher Pekka Ahonen and Tampere Philharmonic's viola principal György Balázs.
