The Changing Mind is Kahvilakauppa's new evening series, where people gather around interesting and sometimes difficult topics to discuss, listen and explore different perspectives.

The topic of the first evening is medicinal cannabis.

The guest speaker is researcher and author Aleksi Hupli, who has written Medicinal cannabis – Science and real-life stories with Marja Vihervaara.

What do we actually know about medicinal cannabis? What don't we know yet? How do research data, people's experiences, legislation and perceptions formed over the years meet?

The Changing Mind is not a traditional lecture. The evening begins with a shared, non-alcoholic drink designed for the topic and getting into the mood for the theme. Aleksi will introduce us to the world of medicinal cannabis through research, books and real-life stories. After that, the discussion will open up to questions and different perspectives from the participants.

The aim is not to make everyone think the same way, but to create a space for curiosity, encounters and exploring one's own thinking.

Admission €7, includes a non-alcoholic drink designed for the topic of the evening. The drink can be modified if necessary, for example due to allergies.

When registering in advance, you can order the book Medical Cannabis – Science and Real Life Stories for €10 (recommended retail price €15). If you wish, you can receive Aleksi's dedication to the book. The pre-order for the book ends on 29.9. Books are also available at the event for €15, subject to availability.
