Luciano Pavarotti is one of the greatest tenors of all time. He is especially renowned as a divine interpreter of the tenor roles in the operas of Donizetti, Puccini, Verdi, and Bellini. His free, powerful, yet warm voice also brought worldwide fame to numerous Italian folk songs and Neapolitan classics.
Pavarotti was also eager to pass on his knowledge to younger generations. One of his last students was the tenor Andrea Caré, Turin’s gift to the world of vocal art.
With this concert program, Andrea—who has sung on most of the world’s great opera stages—together with pianist Liisa Pimiä, an outstanding connoisseur of Italian music, wish to honor the late Luciano Pavarotti and tell the story of the master’s life through words and music.
This concert is a true celebration of vocal art, and there will be no shortage of hits!
