Hiedanrannan Korjauspaja (Repair Workshop) is open to everyone and offers free repair services. At the repair workshop, it is possible to repair both soft and hard materials
A new concept, Hiedanrantan Repair Workshop, is starting at Hiedanrantan Paja. The Repair Workshop is a community-based, open to everyone and free of charge repair activity. The Repair Workshop offers the opportunity to repair both soft and hard materials, such as textiles and wood.
Take your beloved item that requires repair, patching or darning with you and head to Hiedanrantan Paja. We will provide you with repair materials and tools, or you can also bring your own.
29.9. The Repair Workshop:
Come darn a sock, shirt, or apron. Sew a button on a shirt, a zipper on a pair of pants, a patch on a pair of pants.
This time we will repair textiles. There will be patches for patches, threads for darning, scissors, needles and other tools on site. One sewing machine can be used. If you need something specific or special for your work, bring the material with you.
The activity is voluntary and free of charge and is based on peer learning. Let's learn to repair together!
Tea and coffee are available for €2.50. You can bring your own snacks and treats.
