Warmly welcome to enjoy a small group sound journey on Tue 29.9.26 at 19.00-20.30 in the atmospheric Pirtti, built in 1861, in the Niemenranta area 🪶

The Pirtti's wonderful serene atmosphere and beautiful log walls and wooden floor provide a wonderful acoustic setting for a drum journey. 

The Pirtti has excellent transport connections to and from Tampere. For example, from Pyynikintori it takes approx. 10 minutes by tram and the walk from the tram stop to the Pirtti is approx. 400m.

You will enjoy a relaxing drum journey that lasts approx. 50 minutes. In addition to the drumming, you can enjoy the beautiful sound of rain and the lovely sounds of koshi bells. There is a short guided relaxation at the beginning. Some people find drumming more relaxing than singing bowls, so if you have ever tried a sound journey with singing bowls, I recommend trying the drum journey as well.

You can hear the relaxing and grounding sound of the drum in different parts of the room and I will also drum above the body of each willing person, so you can feel the vibration of the drum in your body. After the drum journey, everyone who wants to can pick up a card for this moment from the Untamed Wisdom Power Animal card deck. Finally, there is a moment of time reserved for discussions. This sound journey is a healing experience that offers a moment of rest for the mind and body in the midst of hectic everyday life. 

At the end of the evening, it's wonderful to head home relaxed and prepare for sleep.

Bring an exercise mat, camping mat or something similar that is comfortable to lie on, as well as a blanket and pillow (loan mats are available, let us know if you need one). The room cannot be completely dark, so it's a good idea to bring a sleep mask, eye patches or even a small towel in front of your eyes; relaxation is easier when the light doesn't shine through your eyelids. It's a good idea to wear comfortable, warm and relaxed clothes and bring a water bottle. In cooler weather, wool socks are the best <3

If you want to hear basic information about the sound journey or are participating in a sound journey for the first time, please arrive 20 minutes before the start of the event. If you have been on sound journeys more often and do not want to hear basic information about the singing bowls, please arrive 10 minutes before the start of the event.
