Tampere by Kayak/Canoe

The start and finish point is our base in Kaupinoja. Just a 20-30min walk or bus drive from the city center and you will find yourself from the middle of nature and Kauppi sports area.

The distance and route of the tour will be tailored to the weather conditions and the skills of the participants. The idea is to go and see the city from the waters in a kayak or a canoe, and stop by e.g. to Mustalahti harbour. You should bring some money with you, if you want refreshments at the stop. Possible sights to see could be Ranta-Tampella canal or the cute and tiny light house at Siilinkari.

The boats used on the tour are kayaks operated with double bladed paddles or optionally voyager canoes according to the weather and size of the group.

Your guide(s) are Hiking Travel Hit employees, who are certified paddling instructors, and they take part in our weekly company skill training. Know how and customer safety is a thing of heart for us.
