Rulla Art Hour

During the Art Hour we walk in an Autumn forest, listening to different Autumn sounds. The Art Hour attendees get to select the contents for the Art Hours of Spring 2026. Please dress warmly and according to weather. You can take a bottle of drinking water along. Buss number 4 comes close by. The stop is Suolijärvi.

During the Art Hours we create art and get to know different techniques and materials with the workshop instructor. Art Hours are recommended for children five-year-olds and older. There is advance registration for the Art Hour at Rulla's website. The registeration opens on previous week´s Wednesday, at 2 pm.Please register the place only for the attending child or children. The parents can lounge in Rulla during the Art Hour or observe the Art Hour in the Art Room. In case of not being able to attend the Art Hour, please cancel your registeration to free the slot for another child.

We emphasize environmental education as part of the visual arts context. Rulla is part of Eco-Schools programme for sustainability and environmental awareness.

Art Hours of the Autumn 2025 are held in Children´s Cultural Centre Rulla on Saturdays (in English): 6th of September 9-10 am, 20th of September 10-11 am (NOTICE! This Art Hour takes place in Hervanta, Suolijärvi region and begins one hour later than usually!), 4th of October 9-10 am, 18th of October 9-10 am, 1st of November 9-10 am, 15th of November 9-10 am, 29th of November 9-10 am, 13th of December 9-10 am.
