The Metso LIVE atmosphere will be brought to Kulttuuritalo Laikku, accompanied by the band and interviewer-librarian Juhani Koivisto, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the building.
The legendary cult band Kumma Heppu & Lopunajan Voidellut, which has been around since the early 1980s, creates and conjures up unique atmospheres. The Metso LIVE atmosphere will be brought to Kulttuuritalo Laikku, accompanied by the band and interviewer-librarian Juhani Koivisto, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the building.
Event is in Finnish. Free admission, welcome!
The Music hall can accommodate a maximum of 110 listeners.The event can also be viewed as a live stream on the Tampere City Library YouTube channel.
Tampere's old library building, now Culture House Laikku, will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2025. During the anniversary year, several events will be organized to honor the building's history as a library. The anniversary year will culminate in October with a weekend-long celebration and a photo exhibition recounting the building's history. Come celebrate with us!
