Nota Bene Nokia is a choir that boldly takes on new musical challenges, featuring nearly 50 women from Nokia and the surrounding area.
On Mondays, the Laikunlava Sings concerts include a performance by a choir from Tampere at 6.30 PM and a sing-along led by Sulasol Pirkanmaa District starting at 7 PM. Sing-alongs are held every Monday from June 1st to August 17th, 2026.
At 6:30 PM Nota Bene Nokia
Nota Bene Nokia is a choir that boldly takes on new musical challenges, with nearly 50 women from Nokia and the surrounding area singing.
The choir's roots go back to the 1950s to the choir activities of the Nokia rubber factory, and in Nota Bene too, choir singing is often passed down from mother to daughter.
For 15 years, Nota Bene has been led by choir director Ive Riihimäki (MuM). Under her leadership, gems of national romanticism, pop and contemporary folk music alternate with Riihimäki's fresh arrangements in the choir's diverse repertoire.
At 7:00 PM Sing-along
The leading singer will be Keijo Saarinen and accompanist will be Janne Virtanen.
