ARTISTS & PERFORMANCES
RinneRadio
Founded in 1988, RinneRadio is a legendary trio that blends electronic beats with progressive jazz. Their music merges electro-jazz, drum’n’bass, techno rhythms, dark dub techno, ambient soundscapes, and timeless saxophone and bass clarinet passages – creating trance-like, surreal dance music. Formed by Tapani Rinne and Edward Vesala, the group has released 16 albums and evolved many times, but Rinne’s vision and woodwinds remain central. Today, the line-up includes Rinne, Aleksi Myllykoski on electronics, and percussionist Juuso Hannukainen. RinneRadio remains both timeless and ahead of its time.
Eva Louhivuori
A gifted vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, Eva Louhivuori will release her debut solo album “Kaikki kauniit sanat” in autumn 2024 via Playground Music and embark on a tour with her band. Known from the duo Eva + Manu and the TV show SuomiLOVE, Louhivuori draws from pop, folk, rock, and Finnish schlager, with music full of melancholy and drama. She composes, writes, produces, and plays most of her material herself.
Human Cell Signals
A duo featuring Noora Laiho (electric kantele) and Harri Topi (electric cello), with Tomi Hyttinen (drums) joining as a trio. Their instrumental music moves between cinematic soundscapes, rock, and pop, including their own songs and unique versions of rock classics. They use looping and effects to create rich sound worlds.
Höpinätötterö
A children’s music duo performing since 2014, Höpinätötterö delivers catchy songs and cheerful antics for the whole family, featuring Janne Laurila (vocals, guitar) and Joonas Keskinen (vocals, bass).
The Cycling Pianist
Aarno Paakkari combines his love for piano and cycling, transporting an acoustic piano by bike while playing – bringing smiles wherever he goes.
To the Circus! – Simon Llewellyn & Silja Palomäki
A 35-minute multidisciplinary performance based on Kirsi Kunnas’s beloved circus poems, featuring clowning, trapeze, hoop tricks, and a tap-dancing horse, brought to life with live music.
Improvisational Theatre Snorkkeli – Sketch Improv Show
An unpredictable, high-energy comedy show with scenes, songs, and stories created on the spot, starring Jenna Teinilä, Harri Kailanto, and musician Samuel Teini.
Magician Marko
A humorous magic and juggling show that has delighted audiences across Finland for over 20 years.
Welcome! – Ilona Jääski
A joyful and colourful street circus show combining humour, hula hoops, and impressive tricks.
Creative music session
Welcome to explore human connection in a playful way. We'll be creating music and rhythms together with our voice and bodies. No previous experience is required. Just come with a curious and open mind. No Finnish skills needed.
Close Reader
A one-on-one performance where an actor reads selected works to the audience member, creating an intimate and reflective space.
…and more workshops and interactive experiences throughout the event, including natural cosmetics making, hula hoop tricks, Bollywood dance, graffiti art, community painting, clown coaching, magic wand crafting, and jewellery design.
