FREESTYLE MM aka MANSEN MESTARUUS is a legendary concept where freestyle rap skills are put to the test in Tampere. Contestants rap about quirky topics given by the audience and the judges—no dissing allowed. Anyone can participate, either by signing up in advance or grabbing the mic on the spot. Easy peasy.

Each event offers cash and product prizes for the most skilled improv poets. The top three are rewarded, and the rest drink beer. If you place in one of the preliminary rounds, you’ll qualify for the FINAL held at the end of the year—where the prizes, of course, are BIGGER.
