Ellu Koivisto: Fall in Love, Not in Line

The opening of artist Ellu Koivisto's art exhibition "Fall in Love, Not in Line" at Romula kiska on Thursday 11.6. from 6 - 9 pm! The artist herself will be on site, music appropriate to the theme will be playing and homemade pastries will be for sale. Free admission, welcome!

The art exhibition is located on the ground floor of Romula kiska and unfortunately there is no accessible entrance.

ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION FOR THE SPACE:

There is a stone step at the front door. The step dimensions: height 15cm, width 90cm, depth 40cm. In addition, the front door has a 5cm high threshold. The width of the outer door is 84cm.

There is one (gender-neutral) toilet in Kiska, it is located upstairs and is separated from the rest of the room by two doors. The first door is 60cm wide and its threshold is 2cm high. The second door is 61cm wide, there is no threshold. Behind the first door of the toilet facilities there is also a hand basin and next to it a shelf with a first aid kit. The toilet is 104cm wide in total, of which the hand basin takes up 35cm. There is 47cm of legroom between the front edge of the toilet bowl and the door. The toilet has no handrails or alarm cord/button.

You can get to the ground floor via curved stairs. There are 18 stairs. Their width is 86cm, height is 19cm and depth is max. 25cm. The downstairs door is 80cm wide and its threshold is 5cm high.

The upstairs floor is laminate, the downstairs floor is concrete. The toilet rooms have tiled floors. The space is decorated with carpets, which have been placed away from the passageways. The space is somewhat echoey and it is permitted and advisable to wear ear protection, especially when music is playing. Earplugs are available on the stairs. There is no induction loop in the space.

The space is lit by daylight, but the lighting may be dimmer in the evenings. Flashing lights are generally not used, but if they are used in connection with an event, we will always inform you in advance. We try to keep the space free of strong fragrances, so please take this into account before you arrive. Dogs and cats are welcome, so we cannot guarantee that the space will be completely allergy-free.
