Pispalan Sottiisi 2026 – a summer celebration of folk dance and folk music in Tampere on 10–14 June 2026. On Saturday 13 June 2026 from 18:30 to 20:15, the programme features the “I Need You” Folk Dance Concert, presenting works that explore the stages of human growth and shared existence.
Performers include Tärsky from Karjalan Nuoret; Säpinä from Lahden Kansantanssijat; Kuohu from Klaukkalan Kansantanssijat; and Roihu and Kärri from Karjalan Nuoret.
After the intermission, the stage will welcome Pähiät, the main featured performer of Pispalan Sottiisi 2026 and the recipient of the Folk Dance Ensemble of the Year title. Pähiät is known for its powerful stage productions and strong artistic expression. At Sottiisi, the group will bring great emotions, moving encounters and exclusive previews from Luutarha, a full-length folk dance theatre production premiering in August in Oulu as part of the Oulu2026 cultural programme.
