“International Groups on Stage” and “Catch Me” Folk Dance Concerts

Pispalan Sottiisi 2026 – a summer celebration of folk dance and folk music in Tampere on 10–14 June 2026. On Saturday 13 June 2026 from 14:00 to 16:00, the programme features two unique concerts: “International Groups on Stage” and the “Catch Me” Folk Dance Concert.

From 14:00 to 14:45, the stage will welcome Pispalan Sottiisi’s international guest performers, SŁOWIANKI from Poland and Folklore Club Maatasa from Estonia, bringing some of the finest traditions of folk dance and folk music from their home countries.

From 15:00 to 15:45, the “Catch Me” folk dance concert dives into the world of partner dancing, featuring the energetic groups Ihku, Suiverot and Riiaus.
