Katutaso shop & gallery & cultural space - one space, three entities

The Katutaso shop sells local and unique crafts, art and design. A climate-friendly district is being built in Hiedanranta, whose hallmarks are sustainable development and responsibility. These are also visible in Katutaso: the products sold are locally produced and made in Finland. The products are manufactured responsibly, and ecological and recycled materials are used in them.

The Katutaso gallery displays high-quality works by professional artists, such as sculptures, paintings, graphics and jewelry. Exhibition visitors can get to know different ways and techniques of making art in changing exhibitions. This year's first Katutaso gallery exhibition presents the creators of Hiedanrannan Paja. The When the Door Opens exhibition is free to the public and will be on display from 11.4.-31.5.2026.

The Katutaso cultural space  is intended to be a place for discussion, encounters and performing arts. Interviews with creators from creative fields deepen visitors' experiences of local crafts and art.
