The Miskantti Women's Choir, founded in 1910 in Tampere, is one of the oldest choirs still operating in our country. Miskantti's repertoire consists of both traditional and new choral music.
On Mondays, the Laikunlava Sings concerts include a performance by a choir from Tampere at 6.30 PM and a sing-along led by Sulasol Pirkanmaa District starting at 7 PM. Sing-alongs are held every Monday from June 1st to August 17th, 2026.
At 6.30 PM The Miskantti Women's Choir
Naiskuoro Miskantti, The Miskantti Women's Choir, founded in 1910 in Tampere, is one of the oldest choirs still operating in our country. Miskantti's repertoire consists of both traditional and new choral music. The active and frequently performing choir currently has over 30 singers. The choir is conducted by Jani Laaksonen.
