Art Tuesdays at Lielahti Manor

On Art Tuesdays at the Manor, you can delve into yourself, your creativity and your environment through making art, guided by the manor's artists.

The workshops include visual arts, writing and crafts. Most of the workshops are free of charge and open to everyone.

More detailed descriptions of the workshops are below. Some of the workshops require registration.

16.6 Slow painting from 5-7 pm

You will experience relaxation and delving into creativity through slowing down painting. The workshop involves listening to movement and intuition while painting. You do not need previous experience in painting.

23.6 Poems on the beach 5-7 pm

We gather in front of Lielahti Manor and walk along the shore of Lake Näsijärvi to find inspiration. We write a poem/poems. If you want, you can recite it to others. Suitable for all young people and adults who like poetry.

30.6. Colorful art moment 5-7 pm

Unhurried togetherness and art making. Let's relax and let our senses open up to doing things with our hands. Suitable for everyone. No previous experience is required, and the focus is on experimentation rather than artistry.

7.7 Shaping worlds from 5-7 p.m.

Together we create what we want by shaping with different materials. You can make your own creation, which you will take with you, and if you wish, you can also participate in a community art piece that will be displayed in the manor.

14.7 Memories workshop at 5-7 pm

We will first go and find a memory, which we will stop by for a moment and put it away. We will discuss the memories together and paint the moods they evoke using different techniques. You can either make your own work or participate in a collaborative artwork that will be displayed in the manor.

Slow listening and writing of thoughts. The workshop also includes being outdoors when the weather permits. You do not need previous experience in writing.

Let's be together as a community and let creativity blossom in silence. Suitable for young people and all adults who want to share a quiet and peaceful moment together. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a completely silent environment for those with sensory sensitivities.
