Laikku and the Whole World Cultural festival 2025

Laikku and the Whole World Cultural festival will be celebrated for the third time on Saturday, June 7th. The event, which celebrates the diverse culture of Tampere, will fill Laikunlava and Kirjastonpuisto with music, dance, and art! In case of a very bad weather, the event will be arranged indoors Culture House Laikku and Children's Cultural Centre Rulla.

Performers at Laikunlava stage:

Uniâo da Roseira - A rhythmic and colorful samba show invites on a journey to hot Brazil and draws you into an energetic carnival atmosphere.

Saïsba Intercontinental septet - The music of this Afro-fusion band blends West African traditions with Afrobeat, rock, funk, jazz, and Latin rhythms.

Banda Caribe Helsinki - The band plays traditional Cuban boleros, popular hot Latin hits, danceable lively timba, and romantic bachata.

Kanzashi - A band of three Japanese women performing captivating chanson and film music accompanied by a barrel organ.

Dance studio Rio-Dance: Rio Dance is part of the club activities of the Russian Club in Tampere. Children and young people of various ages practice dance at the studio.

The host and DJ of the event is journalist, DJ, and activist Renaz Ebrahimi.

There will also be KorentoArt's characters and art workshops for children at 14-17 and Art Live -programme by Somana ry. at 15-17.

At the food market, you can find delicacies from Arabic cuisine and Bangladeshi street food.
