Alt Agency's Summer Sessions series returns to O'Connell's summer!

On Saturday 4 July, the Rosita Luu duo, who have released four albums, will arrive to conquer the hearts of Tampere residents.

In 2021, the Samettisuu album was nominated for the Critics' Choice and Audience Choice categories at the Emma Gala. The Samettisuu album was listed in the year of its release, among other things, in Sound's Domestic Album of the Year list, number three. In the same year, Rosita Luu was selected for YleX's Breakthrough list, which predicts future stars.

Rosita Luu's latest album Yöeläin was noted, among other things, in the 2024 albums lists as a pick by Yleisradio's music journalist Susanna Vainiola and in Soundi magazine. In addition, the album was nominated for Album of the Year in January 2025 by the IndieCo ry, the association of independent record and production companies, as part of the Indie Awards 2025 event.

The artist and her band are a real force at live gigs, offering the audience a memorable experience. The band's luminous musicians strongly convey Rosita Luu's tonal and unique world. Rosita Luu performs with a five-piece band and an intimate duo in various settings, from clubs to festivals.
