Summer Park Concerts: Big Band Night

Free open-air concerts offer experiences for everyone around Tampere.

At 6 PM Tampere Gospel Big Band

Tampere Gospel Big Band plays, as its name suggests, gospel music arranged for a big band ensemble, with the aim of bringing joy and the rich sound of a big band to spiritual music.

The orchestra was founded in 2010 and consists of around 20 amateur musicians. The orchestra is led by Matti Koskinen.

Through music, we want to praise and share the good news of Jesus.

At 7 PM Puhallinorkesteri Mansetti

Mansetti is a concert band from Tampere that brings together experienced musicians and players who wish to develop their skills through making music together. Since 1986, Mansetti has been providing diverse and entertaining wind band music for audiences in the Tampere region. The band actively supports the musical growth and performance skills of its members in an inspiring atmosphere. Under the direction of conductor Antti Nissilä, Mansetti delivers energetic and high-quality concert experiences for a wide range of events.

At 8 PM Tampereen teknilliset ylioppilastorwet

Tampereen teknilliset ylioppilastorwet (TTT) is a brass septet from Hervanta. Our group plays legendary brass classics, old Finnish music and well-known classical and pop pieces in between. We express the teekkari spirit in a positive way and perform at the most special events and places: in the middle of the forest, at folk music festivals and private events. The highlight of this year will be a 2-week European tour, which will culminate in the Fête de la Musique event in France.
