Laikunlava Outdoor Stage 

Laikunlava Outdoor Stage pulses with events in the heart of the city, in Kirjastonpuisto Park, almost daily throughout the summer season. Summer Park Concerts are held on weekdays.

Mondays
Laikunlava Sings – choirs perform at 6.30 PM, followed by sing-alongs starting at 7 PM.

Wednesdays
Band and orchestra nights start at 6 PM.

Thursdays
The traditional Thursday dance evenings are being renewed in 2025. Instead of weekly events, a larger dance event will be held on Ascension Day, May 29, featuring several dance groups. However, Azúcar – Tampere Salsa Association’s summer salsa sessions will continue as usual on Thursday evenings from June through August.

Seating is available at Laikunlava even for a larger audience. The back of the seating area and other parts of Kirjastonpuisto also offer plenty of space for those who prefer to enjoy the concert on their own blanket.

The park is accessible, and the nearest parking areas are at Keskustori and Frenckell.

Many other events are also held at Laikunlava. Event organizers can book the stage free of charge for their own events. The venue has hosted dance classes, festival openings, DJ competitions, spiritual music events, reggae festivals, and much more.
